The Board of Directors of the Southern Arizona and Phoenix ICF Charter Chapters have both approved the recommendation from the One AZ Transition Committee to move forward with plans to create a single dynamic and impactful One AZ ICF Charter Chapter. The Committee's recommendation includes a detailed phased approach focused on maximizing the value of membership for all ICF members across our state.

The next action we have is to create and finalize the Articles and the By-Laws of One AZ which require membership approval.  This step is urgent and is of paramount importance. Your ICF Board is meeting on Saturday, June 16th to review and discuss the Articles and By-Laws and we would like to invite any members interested to join us in the discussion on June 16th from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.  If interested, please reach out to Joy Lubeck at joy [at] and meeting details will be provided.

It is our intent to finalize the Articles and By-Laws and submit them to you, our members for final approval before the end of June.

I would like to give special thanks to the One AZ Transition Committee members Jill Juran (Phoenix), Cornelia Long (Tucson), Nancy Smyth (Tucson), Miriam Spinner (Phoenix), and their facilitator Joy Lubeck (Phoenix, President-Elect) for an incredible and thorough job they did in developing the phased approach. They worked arduously to have their recommendations to the AZ Chapter Boards in May with ample time to execute the transition to One AZ.

Thank you for your continued support of One AZ!

David Whitehorn, President, MBA, PCC
