There will be a coaching demonstration by Phil Gustafson, PCC at 11:00 AM on Saturday, November 11th at Shepherd of the Desert Lutheran Church, 11025 N 111th Ave, Sun City, AZ 85351 and also available online for those who wish to attend virtually.
Coffee and will be available at 10:30 AM and the event will end with a luncheon at the site.
The cost will be $35.00 in-person and $20.00 virtual. (Those who register for virtual will be given a zoom link to the session).
This session will be an opportunity to observe a coaching session with a client by Philip Gustafson, PCC, and then discuss the session. This will be a hybrid session for those in-person present and those virtually attending. Phil Gustafson often uses NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) in his coaching and often integrates spirituality in his sessions.
Attendees will “walk away” with:
- See how ICF Coaching Competencies are applied in a coaching session
- Observe a coaching technique in the session
- Consider and discuss with peers alternate paths, questions etc. that could have been used
Presenter's Bio
Phil Gustafson is a retired Lutheran Pastor and PCC Coach with a strong background in NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) which he uses in his coaching. He has been coaching since 2007 with formalized training in 2014 and PCC certification in 2020. He has received Master Certification in NLP from Victorious Living Systems in 2015 and the iNLP Center in 2018. He is also certified in Discipleship Coaching. Metaphor Coaching, Team Coaching, Life Purpose Coaching, the WHY Institute, and developed a course at the iNLP Center on Spiritual Leader Coaching Certification. He presently serves as Director of Professional Development for the ICF AZ Chapter. He also serves as a Transition Coach for the Grand Canyon Synod, ELCA (assisting congregations in transition from a Pastor leaving a congregation to when a new pastor is called).
