Biography

As an experienced MBA and prior CPA, I always, perhaps surprisingly, had an underlying passion for the People side of the business. I spent extensive time developing and implementing Total Rewards programs and both contributing to and leading various talent initiatives around organization structure, career pathing, performance management and professional development. As Chief Accounting Officer and Vice President of Total Rewards & HR Operations, I led large departments and was considered a trusted advisor to the CFO or CHRO, regularly presenting to the Audit and Executive Development & Compensation Committees of the Board of Directors. Further, I have led ERP system implementations in both the Finance and HR space, most recently as HR project lead for a successful Workday rollout during the first 12 months of the COVID pandemic.

Since very early in my career, I have been fortunate to be a manager of people, exposed to countless leadership development programs and training, and honing my skills over 25 years as a manager, leading individuals, leading teams, and leading leaders. It is with extreme pride that I see so many of my prior team members as successful professionals and executives in their respective fields. In addition to gaining valuable training at UNC Chapel Hill's Talent Management Institute, in recent years I took on an extra role, coaching teams and individuals as a certified Gallup CliftonStrengths Coach.

And this is where my passion lies...supporting people as they develop into the best versions of themselves by gaining clarity regarding their future and developing professionally as they enhance and gain confidence in their abilities by leveraging their natural strengths. Most recently, I've had the pleasure of learning through the College of Executive Coaching's Advanced Certified Personal and Executive Coach training program as I endeavor to earn my International Coaching Federation coaching credential in the near term.

I offer my extensive experience to benefit you, as we engage to achieve your personal development goals or address your professional challenges.
